Çiftlik Bay Marina (Çiftlik Koyu) Marmaris is located 1 nautical mile NE of Ince Burun, whereas Çiftlik Island is situated in front of this beautiful Çiftlik Bay with its wide beach in Marmaris. Steep and rocky Çiftlik Island lies in front of the Çiftlik Bay. Both sides of the island are deep, suitable for passage.
Çiftlik Island facilitates relative protection for the Çiftlik Bay from prevailing NW and SE winds. There is a holiday village at the end of this round Çiftlik Bay, whereas hotels and restaurants are found in the middle.
Çiftlik Bay lies in the western direction, open on the southern side and offers shelter from meltemi. Through the valley behind, the breeze blows strongly into the bay. A light swell is felt.
Good protection against meltem thanks to the island of Ciftlik, but a lot of gusts as anywhere in this area. Good holding on sand, but watch carefully because some places are of sand only on a few centimeters; one must go through the layer of seawed. The swell comes in regularly. The wind blows following the valley and is quite energical.
The concrete pier in front of the holiday village belongs to the hotel. There are steel piers in front of the restaurants in the Çiftlik Bay. You can secure your yacht along one of the piers in this beautiful Çiftlik bay and dine in one of the restaurants here.
