Köyceğiz – Muğla – Turkey

The bays intending to N on SW of Köyceğiz Limanı, lying between points; Kızıl Burun on west and Delik Ada on the east are called as Semizce Koyları. On approaching from Marmaris, there are reefs, extending out about 40 – 185 m off on the north of point Kızıl Burun. These reefs lie towards the point on the east. Keep 150 m off the point Kızıl Burun. Care is needed.

Consequently, accidents occur every year. A number of boats have ripped their bottoms on the rocks. There are two anchorages in the vicinity. These coves afford sheltering from breeze. Strong northerlies push swell in. They are open to easterly blowing winds.
