The Marina of Capri is located on northern shore of the Island of Capri, Italy, at Marina Grande. The marina is adjacent to the commercial port and both are located inside a natural bay which provides shelter from the wind; the marina is also protected by two stone breakwaters.
The Marina of Capri is connected to the center of Capri town by a funicular, which transports passengers to the Piazzetta in four minutes. Near the marina, there are bus stops and taxi stands. Restaurants, cafés, and grocery shops are also nearby.
Marina Grande consists of two basins, a busy commercial harbour to the west and a marina for leisure craft to the east. The yacht basin provides up to 300 berths, including 30 for yachts in transit. Maximum length 60 metres. Depths in the marina are 2.0 – 8.0 metres. Yachts berth on the quays or one of the seven piers. There are laid moorings at all berths. Fuel. Water and electricity are available at most berths. Toilets and showers, WiFi. Electric cars.
Warning: The marina is very busy and eye-wateringly expensive during peak season.
