Club Nautico Catania Marina is also known as Yacht Club Catania or Port of Catania and it is hosted by the city with the same name. It is located on the coast of the Ionian Sea, on the island of Sicily, close to the Italian mainland. Catania is the capital of the province with the same name and its marina attracts a large number of visitors thanks to charming waters, great beaches and a well-developed tourism. Gothic, Baroque and classical architecture can be seen everywhere which is why this represents an architectural paradise for many tourists. Piazza Duomo, the Duomo di Catania, the Palazzo Biscari and many other impressive buildings and sights are representative for Catania’s historical and architectural heritage. Green areas and special waterfronts are perfect for those who are looking for serenity in an active city like this. Water sports like diving and snorkelling, hiking, trekking and other leisure activities can be practised in a special environment next to the Ionian shores.
This club manages only a few berths which are not normally available to visitors. It is based on the short pontoon to port in the inner harbour (Porto Vecchio). Showers are available in the Club.
The small private marina of Club Nautico Catania is situated in the port of Catania on the E coast of Sicily. The marina offers 40 berths for yachts up to 25.0 metres in depths of 10.0 metres.
There is normally someone on the pontoon to assist with mooring during the season. If space is available, visitors are normally berthed on the outside of the T.

The Club Nautico is at the north end of the Porto Vecchio (old harbour), the inner, western basin of Catania harbour, about 600 metres from the cathedral and old town.
