Kargı Koyu is 1.5 Nm south of Datça and 2.6 Nm north of İnce Burun. A large bay, it provides shelter from prevailing winds. A stream comes into the bay. Boats can be either pushed off or drop anchor and get a line ashore. Settings are attractive. There are a few restaurants and houses in the hamlet. The bottom is so clear. There is clear turgouise water. Popular spot for divers.
This anchorage gets crowded on weekends. Kargı Koyu is a favorite promenade in the region. There is a public bus serving this bay.
The Kargı Beach is located appr. 1 km south of the center of Datça. The crystal-clear water invites for swimming and snorkeling. In the spacious valley you can find a freshwater spring from where Datça was supplied with drinking water in former times. Several small restaurants offer their service for a relaxing stay at the beach.
A small pond next to beach is the domicile of several turtles and frogs.
It is a closed peaceful bay not effected by the north and south west winds. It is a shingle beach with a small boat yard and there is also some small restaurants.
