Currently the loop is occupied by a marina. In the beginning, “shelter of the fishermen”, the port is opened to pleasure boats for a capacity of about 100 seats. The first dock built is always available to the fishermen. The bay of Porto-Pollo is sheltered from the Westerly winds and the North, excellent shelter by mistral. Since the summer of 2005 an area of moorings organized has been created in the bay of Porto-Pollo, and is managed by the municipality of SERRA DI FERRO. A hundred moorings are installed and can accommodate boats up to 15m (red buoys) and up to 20m (white buoys). These moorings organized concern for the moment, the beaches of Porto-Pollo and Taravo. Containers floating are also in place on the two beaches mentioned above and are identified every day.
