Porto di Calasetta or Port of Calasetta. Tourists can find this recreational marina on the island of Sant’Antioco, on the south-western coast of the historic region of Sardinia. The Balearic Sea reveals its beauties and creates mesmerising waterfronts and sublime beaches in this area. Travellers will be amazed by surreal panoramas that can be observed in this small Italian town which used to be hunted by Barbery pirates in the past. A rich culture and a historical heritage can be explored by tourists who choose to spend magical days in Calasetta. Nature and wildlife areas are simply breath-taking, tourists being able to closely admire the Nido dei Passeri and natural surroundings. There are electrifying beaches with cobalt blue waters and fine sands such as Cala Lunga where sunbathing is tourists’ favourite activity. Calasetta marina provides secure berths for 400 boats, including 55 transit berths for vessels of up to 25 metres.
The marina had recently been re-developed with a new fixed quay and four floating pontoons.

When entering the marina, care should be taken to avoid the rocks just north of the entrance. The north cardinal mark should be observed and given a wide berth when entering the harbour.

There are mooring lines tailed to the pontoons and quay. In normal hours, there will be an assistant available to help with mooring.

La moderna marina è situata nel porto di Calasetta, luogo ben protetto e ideale per esplorare le splendide coste del Sulcis, con le sue baie, spiagge bianche e isole, che rendono la Sardegna così unica. La Marina consta di 400 posti barca ben protetti di cui 55 destinati ai visitatori in transito con barche fino ai 25 metri. E’ stata rinnovata recentemente con l’aggiunta di una nuova banchina fissa e 4 pontili galleggianti. Il pescaggio massimo è di mt 4,00. Calasetta è un ottimo punto di partenza per crociere: si può navigare a nord fino ad Alghero e alla Corsica, a ovest verso le Baleari o a sud fino a Cagliari, alla Tunisia e alla Sicilia
