Saipköy is a seaside village of Karaburun district of İzmir Province. The main livelihood source of the city are fishing, olive and olive oil. Saip Altı Shelter is on northern part of Karaburun Peninsula. It lies on the south of Karaburun town.
There is 3 meters depth in the inlet. Boats drop anchor for berthing. This shelter is a common anchorage for the local fishing boats. Berthing is available for the visiting boats in summer months.
